THE COLIN TUCKER SCANDAL CONTINUES, AS LITTLE APRIL JONES IS STILL MISSING

Right, now they really have made me angry. Remember this?

COLIN TUCKER

And this?

The great reluctance of Birmingham City Council to answer any questions in the interests of child safety to an institutional child abuse survivor about the suspended Director of Childrens Services COLIN TUCKER

AND NOW, JUST LOOK AT THIS!

COLIN TUCKER IS IN CHARGE OF CHILDREN AGAIN AND IT'S EVEN WORSE NOW AS HE IS OVER FOSTERING IN SEVERAL COUNTIES THIS TIME

What the heck do these people think they are playing at? This is outrageous!

  1. Thinking about fostering? Make a difference where it matters

'...fostering is a fantastic, but also a tough job, it's hard work and sometimes it can be very frustrating. But when you notice that you are making a difference, no matter how small, it can be so rewarding...'

Prospects Fostering Service are looking to recruit and train foster carers for young people aged 11 to 16 and to care for mother and child placements. As one of our foster carers you will be very well supported by our team and you will have your own supervising social worker, who will visit you regularly and provide support.

    We also provide:
•High quality, comprehensive, preparatory and continuous training.
•Regular contact and visits from your supervising Social Worker.
    •Monthly foster carers support meetings.
•Access to 24 hour telephone advice and support.
•Two week's paid respite every year.
•Consultation support from our Clinical Team of Psychologists.
•Support for your children, from a family support worker.
•Membership of Fostering Network with access to their Insurance cover, legal advice and courses.
    •Very competitive fostering allowances.
    •Subsidised gym membership.
    •Access to health care.
•Support from Prospect's School in managing education issues.

You will need to have the skills and experience to 'parent' and care for a child or young person, for varying lengths of time, depending on which type of fostering you choose. Whilst the young person is in your care, you will need to have a spare bedroom and provide a supportive and welcoming home, at what may be a difficult time in his or her life.

You don't need any formal qualifications and can be employed or unemployed. We will provide you with the support and training to help you achieve the standards required, within the first twelve months of being approved, as a foster carer.

You’ll also receive a weekly allowance and skills payment for each young person - you can earn £25, 863 to £45,363 per annum (depending on your level of experience).

Foster carers need maturity, 'parenting' experience and energy to meet the needs of a foster child. Children really benefit from being placed with foster carers who share their language, religion and culture and we welcome applications from people from all backgrounds. However, you do need to be over 21, but there is no upper age limit and you can be married, single, gay, or co habiting, as long as you have the time and commitment to give to a child, we'd like to hear from you.

Please call Colin Tucker, Fostering Manager, on
01978 313 777 for further information and an informal discussion, or complete this on-line form.

  5. This is what they were doing in Pindown! The Pindown child abuse has just continued on. Disabled children are the most at risk - not only have many got communication problems, they also come with money, some of these poor children are being taken for their DLA!

  12. This is interesting, because the Solace Foundation address is right near St Giles Church, and I have come accross this church before, the trouble is, I can't remember in what context.

Oh, I will do that all right, but the question I will be asking is how come Brian Gerrish and his pals have got the bare faced cheek to go on pretending they care about child abuse when they have been caught fair and square trying to cover up for Martin and Lianne Smith, not to mention the disgusting way they have treated me?

Stopping child abuse is not the agenda of the UK Column. I certainly will not be advising anyone to have anything to do with it any more, though I was fooled by them for a while.

  16. I am appalled that Colin Tucker is still working in children's services. I fostered for Sandwell when he was director of children's services. When she is of age there will be a legal case brought by the child we cared and to whom he denied the help she needed because he said that he would not provide residential therapeutic care for a child under 12 regardless of the opinion of all other professionals involved with this child. For my dealings with him he is not a fit person to head a fostering service.

  17. One of Colin Tuckers victims is now 30 still suffering it is sad that such nasty people should not have power over children they should be wardens in prisons for corrupt government officials
