Church in Wales promoted child abuser bishop despite known sexual assault claims Story by Ciaran McGrath • A former bishop was elevated to senior positions within the Church in Wales despite known allegations of sexual abuse against him, an independent review has concluded. Anthony Pierce, 85, who served as Bishop of Swansea and Brecon from 1999 to 2008, was imprisoned last year for sexually abusing boys. He admitted five counts of indecent assault against a male under 16, offences committed while he was a parish priest in Swansea during the 1980s. The Church in Wales commissioned a review into Pierce and the handling of concerns about him. It found senior clergy were aware of sexual abuse allegations when he was appointed Archdeacon of Gower in 1995 and later Bishop of Swansea and Brecon in 1999. The claims, said to relate to incidents around 1990 involving a teenage boy, were not reported to police until 2010. By then, the victim had died, and officers took no further action. He has claimed that it was not actual sex, but like Philip Schofield paid boys to pee over him" Seven boys clamed he has raped them How many more perverts are there in the damn church?
As far as I can see, and I'm judging by my own personal experiences of the damned church as you eloquently put it, ALL the churches in the UK are covering up for child abusers. Catholic, Church of England, Baptist, Methodist, Pentecostal, Seventh Day Adventist, Mormons, Jehovas Witness, I know for a fact, because of my own personal experiences that all of those ones are.
i was at the st mays orphanage school in walthamstow in the 50s and 60s which was run by nuns the abuse was horrific, those nuns were brutal the sports field was said to have babies and small children buried there after the war and US service men went home a lot of mothers found they had mixed race babies no one wanted, there have always been rumours they went into the ground some years ago they used cadaver finding gadjets on the field with no firm results so where are the missing children ?
"Labour MP Tonia Antoniazzi launched her bid to end police investigations into abortion under a 164-year-old Victorian law last year, with an amendment to the Crime and Policing Bill."
They've dressed this up as a move to stop prosecuting vulnerable women who commit infanticide out of desperation. But we who have eyes and ears know full well that they do not give a F about vulnerable people. This bill is an absolute gift to satanic child abusing networks.
Excavations begin Monday of an unmarked mass burial site at a former mother and baby home in western Ireland suspected of containing the remains of hundreds of infants and young children.
The planned two-year probe by Irish and foreign experts in Tuam comes more than a decade after an amateur historian first uncovered evidence of a mass grave there.
Subsequent 2016-2017 test excavations found significant quantities of baby remains in a subterranean disused septic tank at the location, which now sits within a housing complex.
Scientists say the remains are largely mixed together, the BBC reports, and a number of methods will be used to try to put remains back together and, where possible, identify them.
Catholic nuns ran a so-called "mother and baby" institution there between 1925 and 1961, housing women who had become pregnant outside of marriage and been shunned by their families.
After giving birth, some children lived in the homes too but many more were given up for adoption under a system that often saw church and state work in tandem.
The history of unwed Irish mothers forced into hard labor is well-documented. Oppressive and misogynistic, the institutions — which operated nationwide, some not closing until as recently as 1998 — represent a dark chapter in the history of once overwhelmingly Catholic and socially conservative Ireland
Sorry, forgot to mention that CBS News story about the mass grave in Ireland was from July 2025. They're still finding these mass graves from the 1960s. Does anyone still remember the cover up of the discovery of child remains in the basement cell of Haut de la Garenne in Jersey? And I can't remember if it was Graham Power or the other police officer they persecuted and got rid of, but one of them I distinctly remember said that the fragment of scull they found in the basement cell had been swapped for a piece of coconut, and that all the children's teeth which were found with the scull were from the Tooth Fairy. And I'm afraid they got away with that ridiculous explanation, and most people have now forgotten about the Jersey child abuse.
For public interest reasons I'm reposting this snippet from the Standard April 2012.
Working with radar equipment, detectives uncovered a sealed-off network of rooms where some former residents told police they had suffered appalling physical and sexual brutality. They revealed how they were lowered into the cellar through a trapdoor and taken to a chamber where they were shackled, beaten and raped.
The 12sqft room is dominated by a 5ft-deep bath or animal trough, which has been described by many of the victims of abuse. On a wooden post behind the bath, someone has written in black marker: 'I've been bad 4 years & years.'
This is not some purpose-built 'torture complex' like the dungeon created by Austrian Josef Fritzl to imprison his family; it was originally used to keep pigs and other livestock. But the accounts of former residents leave little doubt that it became the scene of serious and sustained abuse. Children were left in a large bath of cold water before being attacked by careworkers and outsiders - many of them prominent members of Jersey's elite.
More than 200 victims have come forward to say they had been abused - some now living as far afield as Australia and the Far East - and one prominent Jersey politician has been identified as an abuser by the police.
Wilfred Krichefski, a senator in Jersey's government and founder of the local TV station, is said to have visited Haut de La Garenne regularly to abuse boys until his death in 1974.
One former resident, now in his 50s, was there as a 12-year-old. He says a care worker would wake him with the words: 'You have a visitor.'
After being taken into the cellar, he was presented to the politician with the words: 'Here's a boy for you, sir.' He was then told by the man that he was going to be taught 'how to be a good boy'.
'You've been wicked and no one wants you,' the abuser would say. 'Your parents don't want you - that's why you're here.'
The only person the victim had told previously about the abuse was a psychiatrist on the island, who had then warned him that if he repeated the allegation he would be placed in a mental hospital. Other children suffered horrific sexual attacks which left them with deep psychological scars. Many became addicted to drink and drugs; at least two have committed suicide.
Jersey's elite want to hide the island's secrets
Some might suggest that their troubled lives make them unreliable witnesses, or that they have have embroidered their stories in the hope of compensation payouts. But the sheer weight of their testimony seems overwhelming.
And there is some evidence of a cover-up. Stuart Syvret, a former Jersey senator, claims he was sacked as the island's health and social services minister for raising concerns about the issue.
In one remarkable debate in the States, his microphone was seized and switched off when he tried to reveal how children were routinely punched in the head, flogged with birch canes and locked in solitary confinement for days or even weeks at a time.
The other policeman was Lenny Harper. I think it was someone else who has actually handled the fragments they discovered, and sent them for analysis to Kew Gardens, but having examined them again after they had been released from Kew he said that the fragments were not the same, that the evidence had been tampered with
It's disgusting that all the people who have really tried to help the victims of these atrocities have ALL BEEN PERSECUTED! And although I'm not one of the Jersey survivors, I'm one of the Staffordshire Pindown survivors, I have gone through hell. Even now I'm having to fight to access therapy, as I have CPTSD, and I'm also having to look after someone else. It's really really really hard to get even the most basic support. I do have some decent lovely people trying to support me, but support is seriously underfunded. Yet there's always plenty of money to persecute victims of crime! And plenty of money for cover ups.

it takes so long for them to be brought to justice, because of all the other scumbags covering up for them.
